Deep Breaths!

We had an eventful day yesterday. Devri spent most of it in her room because I grounded her to her room for 4 hours. Long enough to let me take some deep breaths & try to convince myself that it wasn't the end of the world.

So here's the story, we were eating lunch and the next thing I knew, Devri was gone. Then I heard the crash. She came in holding her head, I asked what happened. She said, "If I tell you will you not get mad?" So I had to go see for myself what happened and this is what I saw! When I finally got her to tell me how it happened she said, "I was trying to fly!" So this huge dent in my wall the size of Devri's head is actually from Devri's head. She decided that when trying to fly, you need somewhere high. The top of the stairs is highest place she can get to, so she went to the top & dove, (thinking happy thoughts of course!) Well, she didn't fly, she crashed, right into my perfect brand new wall. I'm just glad she didn't go through the wall! I told her next time she tries to fly, do it outside!
