A couple weeks ago a guy called Erik & offered him a job making a Lot more money than he was at Komatsu. At the time we kind of laughed & said why would we do that. Then they called back & asked Erik to dinner to talk about it. He agreed, and at dinner found out more about the company & the job they wanted him for- it seemed way too good to be true. So Erik started to do his homework on this company & how they do business. He talked with a former employee and several of their customers and the more research he did, the better this company was looking. So through much much much thought and prayer He decided to take the job. This was not an easy move, He really loved working for Komatsu. They were very understanding & said he can come back anytime.
The new company He works for is called Interstate Supply. He will be doing for them similar to what he was doing for Komatsu, selling equipment wear parts & keeping the customers happy. It's a Huge compliment to Erik to have the owner of Interstate hunt him down & recruit him. Erik is really excited about this new opportunity. His area is SLC north, they gave him some of their biggest customers and will be adding more as he gets going. He will be phasing out the former owner as he gets ready to retire. So we may move eventually, but for now we are staying in Saratoga for a few years so we can make money on our house when we do sell. This entire experience with Komatsu, moving, and now Interstate has truly been a Huge testimony builder for us. We are so grateful for all that we have.
